Budapest is sorely missing a reference guide to theater in English.  Local weeklies provide scant, if any, information about plays and performances that the ex-pat audience craves.  That's why I built this web page - not only to help audiences and performers connect, but also to help actors, directors, and technicians find each other.      One thing I've found while acting in two plays and directing a third, is that there is a lot of theatrical talent and will in Budapest, but rarely does everything come together successfully.  So whether you're a director looking for a crew, or just begging for theater in English, the Drop Cloth is for you.  Look around and tell me what you think (granings@ceu.hu), and if you are looking to get involved, send me a CV via e-mail (in html or rich text format, if possible) with contact information.
