Introduction to Statistics with Excel (January 10 – March 28, weekly on Wednesdays, except Jan. 24 and 31: 16.00-17.50, N15 105)
If you have some idea about the nature of statistics and you only need to develop a practice tailored to your studies this is the course for you. The course starts from the basics but advances faster towards more complex statistical tasks. Having some experience with Excel and bringing your own laptop is a prerequisite for the course!
Introduction to Prezi (January 15, 17, 19: 17.00-18.00, Orange lab)
Prezi is a cloud-based presentation software. The product employs a zooming user interface (ZUI), and allows users to display and navigate through information.
EndNote - Bibliographies Fast and Easy (January 22, 24, 26: 17.00-18.00, Orange lab)
Create reference-lists and bibliography managing in almost no time at all.
Webpage Creation Beginner with WordPress (January 29 - February 9, each Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 16.45-18.15, Blue and Green lab)
Learn the basic principals of filling your website with content properly and make your own webpage in a few easy steps using one of the leading the web editors, WordPress and its free templates.
WebPage Creation with WIX (February 12, 14, 16: 17.00-18.00, Orange lab) With this online web editor put together your own personal or business webpage choosing from hundreds of design templates.
WebPage Creation with DreamWeaver (intermediate cancelled) You will get familiar with HTML to understand the basics. Then with the help of the DreamWeaver editor you'll put together your own webpage. Finally we'll upload our pages to the CEU personal pages website.
SPSS (February 19 - March 1, each Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 16.30-18.00, Green lab)
Handle statistical data on your own by getting familiar with the most frequent applications of SPSS.
MS Excel for Absolute Beginners (March 20, 21, 23: 17.00-18.00, Orange lab)
Introduction to Excel for the beginner user: the basics of Excel, working with tables, creating charts.
MS Excel Intermediate (March 26, 28, 29: 17.00-18.00, Orange lab)
Covering some more advanced topics: use of functions and formulae.
